Root Skills is a Richmond Hill, Ontario–based childcare technology company. Founded in 2026, we build software for the people who make early learning work: the educators and directors running Ontario daycare classrooms, and the families trying to find a spot in them.
We are a software company, not a childcare centre — we don't operate classrooms or enrol children. Instead, we build the tools that childcare professionals use every day.

Root Skills was founded by Mansoor Haghighi (Co-Founder & CEO), who brings eight-plus years of enterprise software experience, and Roza Azari (Co-Founder), a Registered Early Childhood Educator and childcare centre supervisor. Every feature is designed with a working RECE — the product exists because Roza lived the documentation burden it removes.
